Melissa

Meet Melissa! Melissa has been an English teacher since 2005, helping her students enjoy the learning process of the English language.

Melissa has had the honor to teach from Early Childhood Education to High School, and adult tutoring. Before starting with GoTalkTo, she worked in a Christian private school, where she was an English teacher and later became the Coordinator for the English Department.

Melissa also served as a teacher on board a missionary ship, Doulos. There she enjoyed teaching children from different countries and experienced a diversity of cultures and places.

Melissa also reached one of her goals, which was to teach her sons English as their second language; she knew the importance of English in their daily lives. When Melissa is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, her two sons and her husband, she loves gardening and children’s books. Seeing the growth in a student’s learning process makes her elated.
